VG-876 Programmable Digital Video Generator

VG-876 is a Programmable Video Signal Generator supporting the latest digital standards of HDMI 2.0, HDCP2.2, Display Port 1.2, V-by-One HS, and 3G-SDI.
Designed for ultra-high bandwidth "Beyond 4K" frequencies. Developed for testing different output standards of HIGH-END products.


  • Max.4 modules selectable, HDMI 3G or 6G, Displayport 1.2, V-by-One HS and 3G-SDI.
  • By synchronizing 4 or 2 units of VG-876, 8K/120p or 8K/60p signals are supported.(8K/120p by V-by-One HS, 8K/60p by V-by-One HS and HDMI etc.)
  • HDMI 2.0 test functions supported :
    • EIA CEA-861-F Timing Format including 4K/50, 60p, YCBCR 4:4:4/4:2:2/4:2:0 timing.
    • SCDC parameter change and status display.
    • ITU-R BT.2020 color bar and video output setting
    • 4K6G with Scrambling Enable setting
    • CEA-861.3 HDR (High Dynamic Rnage) InfoFrame setting
    • HDR Test Patterns supported (New)
    • 21:9 test patterns as option (VT-8500-0014)
  • HDMI2.0 Compliance Test (MOI)
  • Program data and operation are backwards compatible with VG-870 series.
  • Pre installed 4K and 3D test patterns. Optional 8K and 4K HDR Picture Library (VT-7009).

  • Certified as recommended test equipment of UHD Alliance "ULTRA HD PREMIUM" specifications for displays.

DisplayPort unit (VM-1876A-M1)
  • DisplayPort Ver.1.2a based. 4K/60p is transmitted by single channel.
  • SST (Single Stream Transport) and MST (Multi Stream Transport) are supported.
  • 4K/120p output is available by using 2 ports.        
  • HDCP is not supported.      

V-by-One HS unit (VM-1876-M2)
  • 4K/120p and 8K/30p are transmitted by one unit.
  • 8K/120p (4 pcs of 4K/120p) is transmitted by 4 slot units in one VG-876.
  • This unit require accessories such as custom cable, please contact your local agent for detail.    

SDI unit (VM-1876-M5)
  • 3G-SDI, HD-SDI (Single / Dual Link), SD-SDI
  • 2-Sample Interleave supported.
  • Payload, Timecode functions.    

HDBaseT Unit (VM-1876-MC)
  • 4K/60p (YCbCr4:2:0) and 1080/120p HDMI transmission by LAN cable.

iTMDS Unit (VM-1876-M9)
  • Able to support 4K/60p by one unit, 4K/120p (Cross split, Vertical 4-Split) by 2 units. By using IA-1540, LVDS output will be available.

  • 8K/120p timing is output by synchronizing four units of VG-876 by V-by-One HS.
  • Each VG-876 unit should be installed one video interface andSynchronizing Unit.
